Randonnée - Hike: GALENA TERRACE LOOP TRAIL - Kickoff New Year 2025!

Inspired by the success of April's Walk for Peace (Bougez pour la Paix), the Alliance Française de Reno is organizing a series of casual walks (Randonnée) for all ages and fitness levels. These hikes will take place in our beautiful surrounding areas, promoting a healthy lifestyle and fostering community spirit.

Let's enjoy this 3.0-mile loop trail near Washoe Valley, Nevada. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 45 min to complete (stops not included). This trail is great for birding, hiking, and running, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime.

Bring your warm clothes, poles and a picnic lunch.

Time: 10:00 am to approximately 2:00 pm, including time for a BYO (Bring Your Own) picnic lunch AND beverages.

Note:  During the Walk, we can converse in either French or English.
