About the event
INTRODUCTION TO CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING (XC)
Sunday, Jan 19th, 2025 from 10:30am to 2pm.
Alliance Française of Reno organizes this introductory class at the Lake Tahoe Cross-Country ski center .
Enjoy a beautiful terrain with more than 40 miles of XC trails.
A confirmed Cross Country Skier will instruct participants to the fun sport of Cross-Country skiing, also something referred to as "Nordic skiing".
The total cost is $36, and includes equipment rental (ski, boots and poles), access to the XC trails and the instructions.
If you would like to carpool, we’ll meet at the Starbucks parking west of Reno, at 9:30am and from there we’ll car pool to Tahoe XC.
BYOB Beverages and a picnic lunch, as well as warm clothes.
You will need to complete and sign this waiver (click here).
Lessons will be in either French or English.
