In commemoration of Proust on the anniversary of his death, November 18, we welcome Antoine Compagnon of the Académie française, who will be speaking with Fereshteh Priou from the Proust Society of Greenwich about two greats of French literature, Proust and Colette.

About the event
Antoine Compagnon is a Professor Emeritus of French Literature at Collège de France and the Blanche W. Knopf Professor of French and Comparative Literature at Columbia University. He is the author of Proust entre deux siècles (Seuil, 1989) and Un été avec Colette (Équateurs / France Inter, 2022).
