NOW WEEKLY SESSIONS!

Take your French conversational skills to new heights!

The Alliance Française Reno is excited to offer in-person French Conversation Meetings.

The first sessions were such a success, that we are now offering them Weekly!   A special thank you to Andreas and all those who participated and helped make this group an ongoing reality.

All skill levels welcome.

So join us for the one coming up on Saturday, Nov. 23rd, 2024

From 10:30 am - 11:30 am at the

The Cup Cafe, 4007 S. Virginia St. Reno,

(inside the Reno Town Mall, where the Sierra Valley View Library is located and where we previously held these sessions)

The weekly sessions will be led either by Andreas or by Christophe.

Guided by Christophe Soulet, will help facilitate discussions and provide not only valuable feedback, but also lots of international experience and will focus on day to day activities and your interests.  

Born French, he spent his childhood in Morocco. Then he studied in France and got a Telecom engineer degree and an MBA.

Christophe is glad to share his passion for the French culture in all its aspects with the Reno-Tahoe community through the Alliance Française, whether it’s the language, the music, the literature, the movies, the paintings, the gastronomy or the sports: France has it all!

When you register, we will ask that question so that Christophe can download for the Playlist.

Guided by Andreas Steckenborn, an experienced volunteer, who will help facilitate discussions and provide not only valuable feedback, but also lots of fun facts along the way.  

Personal note from Andreas:  

• I love learning about new languages ​​and cultures. I grew up bilingual in Canada but was fortunate enough to learn Mandarin in China, and I have participated in and organized conversation groups that have allowed me to meet people who are passionate about linguistics. My other interests are outdoor activities such as fishing, canoeing, and bird watching.

These meet-ups are the perfect way to sharpen your language skills, stay inspired in your learning, and connect with others who share your love for French!

Coffee/Tea will be brought by your facilitator.
