As summer is fast approaching, let's try and stay cool a little longer by exploring this local favorite of a shaded trail along the creek.

About the event
Inspired by the success of April's Walk for Peace (Bougez pour la Paix), the Alliance Française de Reno is organizing a series of casual walks (Randonnée) for all ages and fitness levels. These hikes will take place in our beautiful surrounding areas, promoting a healthy lifestyle and fostering community spirit.
Let's enjoy this 4.8 -mile out-and-back loop trail near Washoe Valley, Nevada. 750 ft elevation, generally considered a moderately challenging route, it typically takes 2-2.5 hours to complete.
This trail is great for birding, hiking, and running, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime.
