The Chickadee Snowshoeing Loop Trail

Bonjour les amis de L'Alliance Française de Reno.

Let’s enjoy this 3 mile out and back trails, with 400 ft elevation gain.

It’s an easy snowshoe hike, perfect to start the season!

AND perfect for families!

We’ll meet at The Summit Park & Ride at 9:15am to car pool to the Chickadee Ridge Trail parking, by the Lake Tahoe Watershed sign.

It takes an average of two hours (stops not included) to complete the hike. Bring your warm clothes, your snowshoes, poles and some snacks.

If you don’t have snowshoes, you can rent them the day before at Scheels for $10 a day the pair.

So come to snowshoe this great trail and bring some bread crumbs or seeds to feed the Chickadee birds!

Time: 10:00 am to approximately 1:00 pm, not including time for a picnic lunch.

Note:  During the Walk, we can converse in either French or English.

RSVPs are Required to ensure a successful and safe event so that we can meet everyone's needs.
