Walk French, Fun - Bougez pour la Paix/Get Moving for Peace

Join us for a free family worldwide Alliance Française event to Get Moving for Peace at the Idlewild Park River Walk in Reno, a leisurely 2.4 mile walk on paved trails, Saturday, April 6th.

Together with Alliance Française chapters worldwide, we're coming together to support each other in a healthy lifestyle. 

With the upcoming Summer Olympics in Paris, we're unifying in Reno across ages, cultures, abilities, and beyond to enjoy an afternoon of "moving for peace."

This is a family event, children and babies in stroller are welcome!

• Meeting at Idlewild Park Rose Garden starting at 10:30 am.
• The Idlewild Park Walk is a 2.4-mile (5,500-step) route on paved trails along the Truckee River with beautiful views and is rated as easy.

• All participants should wear comfortable clothing, walking shoes, and bring their own water bottles.
• We will start walking at 11:00 am along the Truckee River.
• Our lunch stop will be at The Eddy, where each person will order their own meals**, sit together, enjoy each other's company and test their French cultural knowledge with a fun trivia contest (multiple choice answers) with prizes.  Example:  "On average, how many liters of wine do french consume per year?" :-)

You are encouraged to speak French with fellow participants, but it is not required!

RSVPs are essential to ensure a successful event and be prepared to meet everyone's needs.
