X-country Ski Lessons

In collaboration with the Tahoe Nordic Center https://tahoexc.org, all Alliance Française Reno members are invited to a Nordic skiing experience at a special member rate of $36 per person. Retail value is $120.

Fee includes:

• One hour instruction en français

• One day ticket that includes trail fee

• Rental equipment* (skis, boots, and poles)

Instruction includes:

• Proper use of equipment

• Demonstration of body movement and balance on skis

• Tips on how to negotiate various types of terrain (flat, uphill, downhill)

• Personalized analysis of your performance

TIMES

• Start time 11:00 am

• You must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start time to register, meet your instructor, be fitted with your rental equipment, and sign waivers
