When Alliance Française Reno-Tahoe thinks outside the box… voilà le résultat:
a local challenge becomes an idea worth sharing nationwide.
What began as a very practical need for any small Alliance Française chapter, finding an affordable, professional home for our growing Alliance, has now caught the attention of the Federation of Alliances Françaises USA .
Founded in 1920, AFUSA connects and supports more than 100 Alliance Française chapters across the United States, sharing ideas, resources and experiences that can benefit the wider network.
And this time, the idea being shared came from Reno-Tahoe.
Our experience creating a new home at KILN has been featured by the Federation in:
“Ten Tips for Small Alliances Françaises Looking for Affordable Space.”
A local challenge. A little out-of-the-box thinking.
And perhaps an idea that can help another small Alliance somewhere else.
